He wants to weary God. He just told me this. Let’s think about that. Can he weary HIM is not the question? It’s the fact that he wants to. Think about it.
I wasn’t there so I don’t know what happened other than his responses in these verses which I had always before found to be a little…flippant…
Job 1:6-7
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
By the way, what the heck:
Jude 1:9
“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”
So when Isa was tempted in the wilderness I’ll bet there were some conversations with the devil that were left out. The devil is lewd. I can just imagine what was said. God was with Him.
Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
What makes him worse than the run of the mill serial killer/rapist?
Murder
Mayhem
Grossly indecent
Homicidal maniac
Godless
“Stalked everywhere…”
He tried to whisper in my ear and I flipped out and hollered for God. I don’t want him whispering in my ear.
Then I saw a girl lying down. She was glassy-eyed like she was in space. There was another woman sitting over her chanting and putting her in this trance-like state. I don’t know where she was in her mind. Both of these women were young and looked like everyday people. I figured that the girl consented to being put in a trance, but I thought that maybe she didn’t know what she was getting herself into.
I placed a cloth over her face and started to pray and the evil spirit drained out her ear like a gray liquid. She got up and started to curse at me. I told her that I thought she needed help, but still she was very upset at me. I thought about if it was myself and I was in the Spirit with the Lord and wickedness started to say some BS over me how mad I would be. She had my apology.
