Born of Water
To be born of water means to be baptized in the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. You cannot baptize yourself, it must be done by a Minister, go to a living church and be baptized.
Baptism means to be immersed into water. That is total dipping into water three times and raised out of it. The only place where anyone can be baptized is a place with much water like river. The water has to be much enough to cover the person immersed into it.
Baptized into Christ signifies:-
Death
When you are dipped inside the river, it means; when Jesus died, you died with him.
Let’s see a scripture concerning this.
Roman 6 vs 3
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into him death?
Burial
Since we died with him in his death, we were also buried with him. (While we are inside the water for few seconds).
Romans 6 vs 4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father; even so we also should walk in newness of life.
When you read from verse 7 same chapter, you will see that anyone who is baptized into Christ is free from sin because we all die to sin when we are baptized. I recommend you study the whole of chapter 6 of the book of Romans.
Resurrection
On the third day, Jesus Christ rose from the dead. When God raised him, we were raised with him since we died and were buried with him.
Now that we are resurrected, we have his new life (ZOE).
Ephesians 2vs 6
And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Can you close your eyes for few seconds and picture yourself sitting in heavenly places with the sons of God? Do that now!
This is not when we die and wake up on the last day; it’s a place we live now. As it is written
“Now are we the sons of God”.
This is where I live. This is where you can live that makes you control everything below which includes Satan and his demons. Praise God!
I can write thousands of books on that scripture we just studied (Ephesians 2 vs 6).
It’s revelation knowledge. Anyone who finds out about it will never remain the same.
Many Christians suffer because of the lack of revelation knowledge in that scripture.
Now that you have gotten detail understanding about baptism, let’s proceed.
Remember: You cannot be baptized and receive the holy spirit of Christ if you have not forsaken sin, repent, accepted and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2 v 38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
You repent by letting the Lord know that you are truly sorry for the wrongs you did and promise Him never to do them again.
How do you believe in him? You believe in him by accepting what he did for you.
“You believe with your heart and mind and spirit”.
What to believe:- Believe that Jesus Christ came to die for your sin, to make you righteous and God Almighty raised him from dead for your justification.
After believing that, you will have to confess it. Confession is saying something from your heart with total conviction.
For it is written;
“With the heart we believe and with the mouth confession is made”.
Let’s look at the scripture concerning that;
Romans 10 vs 10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
“Confessing what you believe establishes your believes in the world of reality”.
When you believe something, that thing is still in the realm of the spirit, when you say it (confessing it), it begin to manifest into the physical.
“Put these two principles together, your salvation and righteousness will be establish in heaven and earth.
