“Well, let’s talk about them more, and then maybe you’ll remember?

The corner of his mouth went up slightly leaving a charming half smile.

“Yeah, OK.” He looked concentrated and was quiet for a few seconds before continuing: “My sister is a teenager. She’s quite tall, long brown and wavy hair, she’s slim.

She’s very kind, loves animals. She’s a bit unpredictable though, but I think because she’s a teenager.”

“She sounds nice, what’s her name?” I asked him softly as if talking to a child.”

“Dana. Her name is Dana.” “That’s a nice name.”

“I don’t think she was planned but I can remember the look on my mum and dad’s faces when they found out she was pregnant. It was as if God was sending them an angel. See they didn’t think they could have any more children. Even when I was born they had said that is was near enough a miracle.

“Peter, do you remember where you’re from?” I hadn’t placed his accent, there was a slight Scottish accent there but there was also a mix of something else that I couldn’t quite place. American sounding with certain words. He frowned in concentration.

“I just have pictures in my head but I can’t think of a name.”

“What are the pictures of? Tell me what you see.” He took a deep breath.
