I liked live music and listening to new bands so I was happy Chris had asked me to come along.

We stayed at the bar for a while talking about epic films. I got thinking about it because of what I'd heard that morning on the radio.

“Man, you haven't seen the Godfather? Alex, you haven't lived!” Chris said gesturing with his hands in the air.

“I reckon I have lived and might even waste life by watching it,” I replied with a serious face.

“Aah come on, that's not cool, not cool! OK here's the deal,” he said using his hand to gesture the importance of this deal. ”You watch it with me and we see what you have to say after, OK?”

“Only if you watch Titanic with me! Still can't believe you've never watched that film!”

“Fine, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. But I still think this true love business is just made up Disney shit. The ship sinking might be cool though.”

“That’s horrible! And true love might exist, just because you've never experienced it!” He looked at me with a sarcastic grin.
