didn't notice the red car in time they were going to crash. Why couldn't anybody hear me?!

“STOP STOOOP!”

I ran towards them, waving my arms frantically and pointing but there was still no reaction from them, even though I was moving at a normal pace while they were still in slow motion. Nobody even looked up. I felt like a helpless ghost. They were only a few yards from each other now.

Just then somebody did look up, just one person, the man in the black Audi. He had semi short slightly wavy dark hair and clear blue eyes. He was handsome in a rugged sort of way. There was panic in his eyes but when he saw me, when our eyes met, his face relaxed, I could see warmth and recognition in his eyes, and I even thought I could see a little smile. I just stared, unable to move. It was as if I could look into his soul, all the barriers gone. That moment was indescribable, amazing and daunting. I did not want to see this man pass away.

Then everything started speeding up again, the wind blowing around me, the sounds all came back as if someone was turning up the volume. I started screaming again from the bottom of my lungs and then all went quiet. The Audi hit the brakes and started turning but it was too late, the two cars smashed into each other. Glass and debris flying everywhere. I felt cold all over and I was shaking. I tried running over but I felt like I had led in my shoes. I couldn't move. I looked down, wondering if I was stuck in something but I couldn’t tell. It was as if my feet were glued to the ground. I looked up ahead but couldn’t see exactly what had happened or who had been hurt. I just stood there feeling hopeless.

“No,” I whispered, tears streaming down my face.
