her room listening to music. I ate breakfast or brunch as it was, made myself a good fry-up! Not the healthiest thing but exactly what my stomach was craving for so I went with it. Eggs, bacon, beans, a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice. I relished in it!

I took a nice long shower and got ready, by then it was early afternoon. I sat down on my bed.

Blue eyes…those eyes, I kept seeing the man from my dream whenever I closed my eyes. I took out an empty canvas and some paint and started painting. Letting my hand flow over the canvas without thinking. I was so into my painting when I heard Lisa shouting out my name.

“ALEX!”

“Yeah, everything’s OK? No need to shout,” I answered her.

“I’ve been standing at your door calling out your name, that was the fourth try! Thought you'd gone deaf or something.”

“Oh, sorry,” I said, feeling as though I'd come out of a daydream.

“I’m just so into this, I guess I turned off my other senses.”

Lisa had been out for a run, wearing her gym clothes and a pair of earphones were hanging over her shoulder.
