He came up with his hand and put it over mine, then with his other hand he moved a strand of my hair that was blowing slightly over my face and gently stroked my neck. We were close and I could smell him. I had always heard people say that a man that smelled good was one of the best smells and I hadn’t really thought it was a big deal, until now. His smell made me yearn for his touch. I could certainly dream big.

He pushed his hand on the back of my neck ever so slightly, pulling me closer to him. Our lips were almost touching and I held my breath, wanting to kiss him more than I’d ever wanted to kiss any man. His lips brushed against mine and then we were kissing, a warm, gentle, kiss that made me burst with passion like fireworks going off inside me. It only lasted for a couple of seconds though, I felt him fading and looked up to see him half vanished. The stars were all going out and things were swirling away, like the most beautiful oil painting washing away.

I woke up staring at my sealing feeling warm and at the same time, heartbroken.
