perverted, that same light will illuminate the

course on how that happened in the soul’s

life, in this case, it started – unaware, of

course – with sympathetic feelings that the

soul had towards the aforementioned

television host, whom the soul, already in the

teen years, became aware of its sexual

perversion. Anyway, in general, it is a

known fact that teens, especially in these

days, sometimes can go through a certain

«rebellion phase», which can have one

major

characteristic,

that

being

stubbornness to what concerns some sort of

source for life-long defining personal

characteristics. So, with that factor in play,

along with the example portrayed by the

figure that grew throughout the years in the

child/teen’s mind as a «positive example»,

led, thus, that unfortunate soul down a path

of perversion, namely, to be alike the

example which she held as «positive». So, in

a first stage, a cause for the fall of the soul is

to be found on that television «person». But

it does not end there. The person and/or

persons responsible for the airing of the

show are also responsible for the downfall of

that soul. The owner/owners of the television

64

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

network on which that show airs is/are also

responsible for the downfall of that soul.

Does it need to be said what show we’re

addressing here? Of a certain Ellen

Degenerated or some shit like that. In the

case of Portugal, in which the dyke show

airs in a certain television network called

SIC – in this case, quite providentially

designated in the English language –,

65

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

A Doutrina e Moral Católicas

continuam a ser a luz do mundo. Não vale a

pena discutir com demónios, posto que só

percebem depois de morrer. Por isso, é

melhor seguir a luz e deixar os demónios a

falar sozinhos. Até porque, enfim, nem

sequer

se

precisa

de

entrar

em

terminologias teológicas, posto que já dá

para notar que há «gente» que tem o seu

ganha-pão precisamente em ser estúpido, no

que concerne a filosofias, moral e políticas.

Roughly, it’s in this way that light is

shed in the tribunal after death. Remember

the Parable of the Rich Man and Poor

Lazarus.

It was due to socially metastasized-

state sexual perversion that Sodom and

Gomorra burnt with fire from the sky, hence

the name sodomy (Cf. Gn 19).

XII

«Hey, Mr. Wiiiiilsooooooooooooon!»

Strange way to pray in front of the

Tabernacle.

Nevertheless being kneeled in a very

peaceful stance, it was clear for the Angel of

that church that that soul, which he knew,

was in a very good mood.

«A-A-Adonai! A-A-Adonai!», was

another. The Brazilian in him, as that soul

used to put it, regarding the latter salute and

praise of The Most High, AKA in the

mentally sane circles as Our Lord Jesus

Christ.

67

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

Attention to these sort of writings so

not to give way for immature souls to act

stupid before Our Lord

If you have Catholic Doctrine and

Morality all settle in you, so not to be even

an issue anymore, your relationship with

God, as, then, your entire life, can go as far

as you let it – but remember always that Our

Lord is God, so, respectful simplicity, given

that Our Lord is Jesus. In truth and at peace,

the best of the best at all times for Him.

Souls who have a so and so faith,

usually come to church or only think of God

when facing some difficulty. This soul,

however, was the opposite. Well, this soul

thought of God, maybe not all the time, but

pretty much. This soul, when in a bind,

usually rationalized things alike that movie

where Chevy Chase’s character, a

journalist, I think, when also in a bind,

started to quote stuff from the Godfather.

In a way, not believing in Jesus is to

be missing out on the Truth of Life, really. I

know that this may sound as some sort of an

advertisement or propaganda, but it’s true.

If you truly believe, you’ll tap into the

hidden Truth or Conscience of Life.

68

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

That part on Ergonomics of the Truth,

when the Priest comments that passage of

the Gospel of John, where some Greeks

asked the Apostle Phillip to see the Lord

Christ, after reading the Holy Father’s book,

Jesus of Nazareth, Part II, where that same

passage is commented, I prefer the Holy

Father’s comment to mine. Well, the moral

of all I’ve written could be resumed to, listen

to the Holy Father. I’m still reading the Holy

Father’s book. It has enriched my faith,

truly. The explanation of many of Jesus’

gestures and words became clear and

gained new depths and proper meanings. I

liked especially the part where the Holy

Father comments a passage of chapter 17 of

the Gospel of John, where Jesus says, in His

Prayer to The Father, that He, Jesus, has

made His Name (The Father’s Name) known

to men. At first, I thought that Jesus was

saying that The Name of The Father was

also Jesus… Anyway, the explanation of the

Holy Father is that Our Lord said that He

had made The Father’s Name known to men

because of the deliberate connection made

by Jesus to The God of Israel, as in, the

purposeful association to that tradition, as in

assuming everything of that religious

tradition up to that point. Something like

this. It’s best to read it, though. A history of

69

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

religions written by the Holy Father. Yes,

please.

I also want to make explicit here my

desire to leave my possessions to the

Catholic Church. Everything. But having

mostly what I’ve written in mind, given that I

haven’t got much of anything else. But,

again, everything. I have made explicit and

expressed this same desire in paper already,

last year, but I haven’t done what it needs to

be done so to be considered legal, according

to the laws of men. So, adding to that

document, I leave this note here also, for

being my will. This is the Author here. Not a

character or the Narrator, but the Author. I

feel like Miles Masey saying this – this is

what Mr. Smith wants, this is what I want, I

am Mr. Smith… This is what the Author

wants, this is what I want, I am the Author.

I’m writing this given that I don’t know if I’ll

have the chance to do whatever it is that it

should be done so to make the document I’ve

written legitimate according to the laws of

men. But, anyway, my will is very clear and

explicit here, despite of any circumstantial

law regarding this matter, so, there you have

it.

My canonic process should be held in

secret or with discretion, and, when altar

70

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

status is accomplished, all ceremonies

should be private, and the altar should have

no image, somehow in line with the

evangelizing «charisma» or ways of the soul

concerning the announcement of the Light

and Word of Salvation for all peoples, that

is, Our Lord Jesus. It should be discrete

given some elements of the life of the soul

that might be misunderstood to outsiders,

such as the occasional use of profanity and

so on, which took place for, let’s call it,

«political reasons». The secret saint. A bit

arrogant or presumptuous, perhaps. But

time seems to be of the essence, so,

politically wise, fuck it. Anyway, who still

wastes time with thoughts of grandeur of him

or herself regarding Eternal Life, haven’t

read appropriately, for instance, the

following passage from the Book of

Revelation (5:11): «I looked again and

heard the voices of many angels who

surrounded the throne and the living

creatures and the elders. They were

countless in number, and they cried out in a

loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb that was

slain to receive power and riches, wisdom

and strength, honor and glory and

blessing." ». What does that tell you, context

wise? You have God The Father, God The

Son (Our Lord Jesus), and God The Holy

71

THE GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL

Spirit. You have a countless number of

Angels and Eternal Life. Can you grasp the

context? Would you really waste time in

wondering what you’ll be in Eternal Life?,

or would you just surrender yourself already

to gratefulness and praise of God?

Monasteries, convents – schools of

kings and queens for Eternal Life.

Someone once told me that he always

felt bad after talking with me (about Jesus),

him being an unbeliever. This can be a good

sign. Who is accustomed to the dark for so

long, when coming out into the light, it is

natural to feel uneasy or uncomfortable.

If you truly repent you’re sins or if

you’ve been away from Our Lord for some

time now, do not think you’re beyond

salvation, for the Love of The Lord, His

Mercy, as you may foresee or understand

from Jesus being on the cross, is

indescribable.
