The main character of the book is a cat named Citizen Cat. He's raised in an upper class home, by his 'parents'. Unfortunately, his life takes a horrible turn when he's betrayed by those he loves the most; his parents literally abandon him.Thereafter, Citizen is framed for one heinous crime after another, forced to be on the run and finding it quite difficult to love anyone. He's forced to go from one city to another, unable to trust anyone. Worse yet, later his own mother turns him into the law. But Citizen is a cat with incredible resolve and resilience, he saves the world from The Gray Masters (Aliens from another planet) who have inserted a horrible virus therein.
