Book Description HTML

If an android could think and learn by herself, would she be human? If she could feel affection and love, if she could enjoy everything a regular human can, including sexual relationships, would that make her human? Is the search for God the differentiating factor between human, animal, and machine? Or is it mans ability to lie, cheat, and kill that differentiates us? In a story of intrigue, love, murder, and betrayal, this novel seeks to define the thin boundary between human and machine. She was created for the purpose of pushing scientific boundaries, however, even the lab directors have no idea the military is funding this project to develop an advanced weapon. She is charged with a murder she didn't commit, and discovers a secret kill switch buried deep within her nano-gel brain.

The story is about a secret government funded project creating an advanced android that becomes more human than is good for her, such as by developing feelings. Fluent read, captivating storyline and thankfully not as much vulgarity as appears to have become the fashion among some writers lately. However a little too many bleeding heart moments and religious dialogues for my taste.

    Good Story Line

This book is a good read. Very enjoyable. Not as sexual as seems to be indicated by the cover, which is what I was afraid of finding. The author does a good job of with a near-human android searching for religious meaning. The author has a Christian leaning viewpoint, but by no means is this a 'religious' book - just part of the story line. Good story line with very believable characters and the ending is not expected but makes sense.
