Chapter 40: Wedding

Cindi managed to make it to her birthday a virgin despite sleeping with Kam for three months. It was not easy to say the least. Their wolves pushed every single day for the marking and mating to be complete. They treated it as a way to honor both fathers, which kept they focused on the goal, instead of the lust.

All New Hampshire wolves were invited back to the Attitash condos for the wedding. Early morning, Cindi showed her coyote head to the Bow and Lincoln packs, to become an adult in the pack.

All of the alphas and lunas attended a breakfast ceremony to welcome her as the King Luna. This puts her firmly in control of all packs family harmony, similar to how the lunas of the packs deal with that harmony for their packs.

Officially, the alpha controls the businesses, discipline, and inter-pack issues, while the luna controls the inter-family issues that do not effect pack management and  family issues. This family issues includes providing food, clothing, education, and childcare, while the inter-family is conflicts between them. Unofficially, the luna alpha line for many couples are blurred as feminist issues shook the pack structure in the last six decades.

Kam's mom had inputs on all of his dad's activities. Many times his mom changed his and other's punishment. His dad would never change a decision. But, would let mom change them. Kam has been going further treating her as his beta. Discussing decisions openly with her and others before stating the result usually a compromise between them.

At noon, the wedding took place. There were two parts. The first is similar to a human civil ceremony their outfits disposable. The second in wolf form with a full religious ceremony that celebrates the goddess and the blessing she has bestowed on the couple. The finding of their mates, the future wolves that will enter the pack life, the guidance she gave through the past difficulties, and the future guidance she will give. All those able to shift were wolves or bears for the second part. All screamed their joy to the goddess for this match, in shouts, howls, or growls, at its conclusion. Everyone shifted and dressed before leaving the field.

Afterwards, came the feast that lasted into the wee hours of the night. As was custom, Cindi and Kam were the last to head to bed. If there was someone up celebrating, they were expected to participate. If they failed, they be teased for months, if not decades.

Teens would carry the sleeping children to their beds. Groups would hung out together and check on the children, until the parents came home. Parents of young children called it a night by eleven so the teens could get to bed, if they chose. By one in the early morning, the party was down to those committed to watching the sun rise.

While alcohol was drunk, nobody got drunk from it, as their bodies treated it like an injury and healed it. It was drunk for its taste, savored like a perfect fresh hot cookie. There was a time teens that completed puberty were allowed to drink it. But, these packs followed human laws regardless of the uselessness.

Around three in the morning, the crescent moon peeked over the mountains. Those still partying howled at it in welcome. A few howls came from inside the condos. A little after seven the sun would be seen from the mountain tops. The sky was lightened, but another couple hours later the sun peek over the mountains and the party ended.

Cindi was carried into the condo and bedroom by Kam. He undressed her before setting her down. She picked him up and undressed him. The entire time they were kissing. They both laid down on their sides and she guided him into her as they bit the other's shoulder.

Energy flowed in two opposite circles instantly everywhere all at once, from their mouths into the shoulders down that side to their sexual connection back up the side to their mouths. They both had orgasms that increase the energy flow, without even moving. Their brains opened up to each other with full thoughts and emotions.

Later, as they separated, the energy still flowed, though it did diminish some and so did their thought transfer. A hour later, they felt the need to have a more normal sexual encounter. Another hour later, they felt the need for their wolves to consummated the marriage. With the final act, the energy and thoughts ceased. The emotions remained and would for life.
