Manufacturing techniques here are similar to those given for Figure 4 (except for the arms and gear reducer). The usual turning techniques should be used to make the disc 11 and making the divisions on the scale 7 could require some special machine adjustment. It would be less expensive if the scale were made on aluminium foil by printing or other polygraphs techniques, like photochemical method (acid etching on a photographic plate).
