TRAVEL

Superstars travel a lot. It’s the lifestyle to get to meet new people every day. Opportunities for the superstar arrive as he moves from place to place and he seizes on these opportunities.

When you become a superstar, you don’t just shine around the immediate sphere where you find yourself, you shine for the world. First your name could travel via your output or work. Then next, you get to showcase your ability to those who have heard of you.

When a musician produces his song, it gets air play on local media, on the internet and other mediums. Before long the music travels and it is heard all over the world. People listen to the music and love it from faraway lands beyond the shores of the musician. Someday a promoter could decide to call from another country for an opportunity for the musician to sing his song to listeners in the country foreign to the musician. Thus the musician travels.

As much as you are celebrated at the homefront, you become more celebrated when you get away from the front.

There are people you may never meet until you travel and you can get across a certain caliber of persons by traveling through their path often. Many great superstars boast of having met and dined with presidents of nations. How? They travelled to those nations or the president traveled through their country.

We don’t get to meet if we don’t plan to meet. It’s amazing but it’s the truth. The very rich and important personalities travel by air and especially first-class. If you want to meet them, you have to travel first-class too. If you can’t afford it, plan ahead for a ticket and when you do get one, seize the opportunity.

No one sits at a place and gets around the world. You have to be doing something that gets you the opportunity to get round the world even if you are at a place now. Like the musician, you must be singing, like the internationally best-selling author, you must be writing, like the great international evangelist, you must be preaching, like the great internationally renowned inventor, you must be inventing. The more you do and the better you become at what you do, your fame increases. You begin to travel in the thoughts sphere and hope that your opportunity to use your skill also arrives.

Those who get the opportunity to travel because of their skills are the ones who are exceptional at what they do. When you find that exceptional attribute that you are great at and you are able to get what people want, you are right on track.

As a little boy, I never met the superstars I celebrated. I only listened to them on radio. For example, I never had to see how Michael Jackson looked through childhood till I was around sixteen. We had no TV and dad wouldn’t allow me visit the neighbor who had one. I knew my neighbor played Michael Jackson’s “thriller” album often. I actually got to know the album was “thriller” when I was grown up. I learnt Michaels “moonwalk” and “breakdance steps” from my friends who had watched the dance. I never saw Michael do it yet I was a huge fan. I knew he had changed his skin though I didn’t know how he looked prior to changing his skin. Michael had travelled very far to my local village yet we never met him in reality.

You travel when what you do travel. The more of what you do that travels, the bigger chance you’d travel in reality. Michael got renowned for his music and dance steps yet he never got to a quarter the places his fame had reached. He could if he wanted to.

It is what you have to give that gets you the opportunity to share it. If you think you have great talents, greater arrives when you share it with people. That’s where superstardom arrives.

I don’t know any superstar yet who isn’t giving something he has. People appreciate them for what they are giving and the way in which they are giving it. The more you give, the more you shine.

Every company has a marketing department. This department strategizes how best to take the company’s products to the consumers and how to get the consumers to come and do business. What you have too can be most useful when you get out of your immediate comfort zone and flash the talent across. You don’t give them the real deal, only possibilities. The real deal is “you”.

My leadership center often has to canvass for new students however popular and known we are for the quality of service we offer. We are aware that there are still more out there who don’t know and there are those who just need a little persuasion to attend our programs.

You may think “superstars are known and I am not yet one”. You are the superstar and you have to show yourself as one. Find your superstar opportunity by stepping out. Take your talent with you and find the opportunity to share it.

Many musicians just starting out carry their CDs with them and readily give it out at the slightest opportunity. They speak about their talent with the hope that an opportunity arrives from whoever to increase their renown.

Don’t just stay where you are. Get out, get doing, and keep moving. Travel, share, that opportunity you want is available.
