Self-care
Think of your life as a canvas.
Your life is your canvas. You have been given the right to paint your canvas with the colours you please.
Now indulge yourself.
Fall in love with yourself and accept all of you.
Take yourself on a date, court yourself, notice how you have evolved from
birth and relish your own company.
Give yourself the permission to explore. You are worth the risk.
Rather than spending plenty of time thinking of all that could possibly go wrong and how
embarrassed you might be, choose to think
instead of all that could
possibly go right and how exciting or overwhelming success might be.
Stop apologizing for who you are. Help people realize they have the option of dealing or
leaving if they cannot stand you.
Give yourself the latitude to be the person you
were engraved to be.
Stop apologizing for who you are. Stop apologizing for who you are not.
No matter how hungry you are, you cannot insist your gas cooker cooks a meal faster than the
required cooking time for
that meal, except you want to eat an
undercooked meal.
Allow yourself time to evolve – the time to serve yourself will eventually come.
