Many of us have doubts to be humane and start service. I am a student and have no earned money, so can I?, I am a busy business man, can’t find time to do, so can I?, I am a homemaker (house-wife) I generally do not go outside, so can I?, I am an employee with low salary and don’t have time, so can I? Yes you can. (a few ideas mentioned in “The ways” chapter)
No matter what is your condition, what really matters is your mindset.
I am alone so can I? Yes. Start your own and simple in your limits and do regularly, after a period of time you will be surprised the huge covering of your service and the followers to you.

Can I alone change this entire rigid system?
Mother Teresa’s quote answers to this question profoundly, she says: “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
We may not change the entire world, even go on. Many like us are trying to change it and the change is continuously happening. Remember the quote as far as I know which is given by Albert Einstein, Nothing in this universe is constant except change.
