The sum of all life existing on earth is the result of evolution and accidents. This balance in nature is being modified at a fast rate, for the greed of humans.

There is a large scale suffering of life forms which were adopted by human beings for their use or consumption.

With the modernisation of agriculture - chemical pesticides and fertilisers are extensively being used. Grafting of the sapling may look like replacing the head of an old person with the head of a young person. The High Yielding Varieties (HYV) developed are like having only the most performing. In the Genetically modified organisms (GMOs), genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering. The human excesses and interference with natural systems is a concern.

The natural seasons and cycles are disrupted. Anytime anything can be cultivated. The plants are tortured to yield. There is a suffering of plants right from germination to their death. The chicken yield eggs with so much suffering being crowded in cages in a poultry farm. Most of the domestic animals raised for consumption such as poultry birds, pigs, cattle, fish, etc., suffer throughout their life cycle. The above animals are given drugs, antibiotics and growth hormones.

In common air, water and land are polluted which are the basic sources for the existence of all life. With so much suffering around the products consumed by humans must be with the memory of pain?! As a result of such suffering of environment, people also will be unhappy.
