be NATURAL: that’s what people celebrate.

Since the sporadic growth of industrialization, man has developed his own creations similar to natural sources. They’ve called it artificial or man-made. It is a fake version of the natural, a kind of imitation, not close to the real thing even though it may look flashy. Human society has come to accept the artificial life as the best because we have lost sight with the natural life. We have lost sight with what we really are (our natural selves) and held on to pseudo placed on us by the society. We go about with dilapidated cocoons delighting in them when indeed we look better without them.

The seeming attraction of the artificial is because of human craving to want to be what they aren’t. We have this tendency to show off as being something (carrying effect) when in the real sense, we are just carcasses. Our ladies go about with artificial air, artificial toes, artificial skin colors, artificial nose, artificial everything and these ladies are the choices of artificially minded men.

The phenomenon has always and will always reject the cloak of artificiality placed by society. They refuse society coverings, reject titles of any sort, and refuse any magnanimous attributes. They choose to be their true selves for which the world must accept.

The natural life is a challenging life because of what seems like the popular artificiality that characterizes life. Everyone who desires success seems to do so because of the artificial benefits accrued. They prepare titles for their future glory, edify themselves as gods (not people enthroned) and place around themselves security aides. Its challenging not to think greatness without courting with these notions of life. But not the phenomenon. The phenomenon exhibits a naturality that is humane. He reckons with himself and not the picture that society expects he wears.

One phenomenon that could make you marvel is the man Mohammed Ghandi. From England to South Africa and then back to his homeland India, he showed glaringly what a phenomenon he was. He took the struggle of his people and made it his and when one would have thought he had achieved so much and live with the dignity that his achievements had brought him, he accepted the simple life choosing rather to leave in his single room contented with just a cloak, his bed and his writing materials. He brought the struggle for India’s freedom to a head. Ghandi rejected any dignifying attribute of any sort. Rather he thought his followers the power in being natural, leaving all the cleaving of life and keeping confidence on God. That was indeed the secret of his success.

The phenomenal human views life from its natural view. He tries to keep at par with nature ensuring a “unity” that is unusual. He strives hard against the cloak of artificiality around him and manages to cut away from them.

One truth is, there are only a few people with these natural leanings so when the world of artificial people sees one, they yearn to have a second view of them and maybe as many times as possible.

Striving to be natural requires you;

N. Negating generally accepted values. Breaking the crowd syndrome is one-step towards being your natural self. You will have to give up the generally accepted artificial life and hold on to who you really are, the you.

A. Activating your individuality. Since the crowd suffers from the artificial syndrome, the best way off the crowd is a natural way of life, which is a difficult pattern only phenomenal individuals dare.

T. Tasking your mind. The crowd thinks the common mentality. You will have to draw from your own inspiration by tasking your mind and drawing from its well of inspiration.

U. Underlining your individual talents. Everything about you must be stressed. Stressing general obtainable talents makes you a member of the crowd, stress your slightest individual talents and you look just you and natural.

R. Reckon with your capacity. Everyone’s got his own individual capacity. Accept your difference, don’t strive to be like the Jonesses. They will be the Jonesses and you will be you.

A. Amplify your innate skills. There is something inside you that comes with you into the world. You never strived to develop it. You discovered this skills as you grew. That’s the innate skills. Amplify them, that’s the difference maker.

L. Live with nature. Nature arouses our intellectual capability. Sometimes you can afford to align yourself with nature and learn from its silent whispers carry enormous messages. Nature never competes, it stands out. It doesn’t struggle to be seen, you notice it just the way it is. If you are in line with nature, you will naturally be noticed for your unique capacity, capability, and skill

The natural man is down to earth, simple and magnifies an ordered life similar to what nature offers. He upbraids the beauty of his natural self and elevates higher his natural tendencies more than any other attributes that he may have. He stands his head high up there because his natural beauty attracts more within a crowd of artificial minds. His steps are often impeccable with strong allusions to natures wonder creations that other minds do not fail to agree on his difference.

Though our human faculty has being abused by the crowd of artificially minded people, there is still that instinctive attribute that yearns to return to that natural self we once were in the early days of innocence. The challenge though has being that a difficulty index has being placed before us that we have to struggle against. The difficulty index is the charm of artificiality.

Artificiality Charm;

o Carouses our mental state blinding us to the possibilities available if we stayed true to who we are.

o Hardens our resolve to be accepted amongst the crowd because of the seductive capacity that it carries.

o Activates crowd sensuality that drags us deeper and deeper with the crowd.

o Releases spasms that dare our ability to try breaking off.

o Magnifies the nonexistent beauty that artificiality claims to provide.

Once you can break free from this charm, you are on your way to the surreal life that the natural provides.

At this juncture, here is what the natural life provides;

  • Significant bliss.Imagine being at the side of the ocean and all the cool breeze pouring from the ocean. You feel you should be there all year long. That’s what the natural life offers, an unending bliss too significant to overlook.
  • Uncanny audacity.The natural life portends an audacious life that is somewhat weird and mysterious. It only takes an uncommon audacity to jump off the bandwagon and take a long trek. But that’s all possible when you stick to the natural side of life. Why can’t you use your legs? Must you use the wagon always?
  • Realistic joy.The artificial life may boast of all the possibilities it can boast off but one certain fact is it tries to prove it can go beyond the natural life, which is a far lie as it comes short of the natural in all things. The natural life provides you with realistic joy that transcends beyond your imagination. You are not too ecstatic and then your hope dashed like taking opium. You have just enough of what you want that provides you with enough joy for that time and beyond.
  • Rest.Living the natural life provides rest. You have so less to worry your mind about because you are certain things always going to naturally find its place.
  • Excitement.The excitement that comes with the natural life keeps you always anticipating more. You just can’t get enough of it. It’s an excitement free from hurt, pain and any of the negatives that come with the artificial life. The artificial life provides a joy that hurts. You seem to enjoy the pleasure and then just after it, you get the hurting that comes with it.
  • Admirable life.the benefits of the natural life ensure you remain the cynosure of all eyes. Guess what? The people who assumed you were acting weird and odd to have decided against their artificial lifestyle would consider changing and maybe consider joining you.
  • Leviathan pose. Living the natural life makes you look larger than life when indeed you are simple. You look bigger and stronger having gotten through the difficult hurdles that comes with striving against the artificial life and overcoming.

The would be phenomenon must be fully aware that if he must truly standout, he must create an awareness with himself, the natural instincts imbedded in him and ensure he brings them straight from his heart to the fore. Only then would he enjoy the benefits of being who he really is, the natural man.
