I enjoy reading words in the way they were used many years ago. This example shows how the meanings have slightly changed over time - it might slow you down but it is worth the time spent. A great read.

I was very interested as a young man to read this book. However, it took me until I was 60 years old to finally read and finish the book. I did not, like some of the characters of the book, realize that the hound was real. I thought it was as Stapleton wanted people to believe; that it was just a supernatural spectre.Well done, Sir Doyle.
