Angel Without Wings is a true story of a young couple's trip to Alacati, Turkey on an expedition to find a rumored ancient city buried somewhere off the coast of the Aegean Sea. Since Kate was a power walker, she was off within a few days discovering the quaint town. A few days after they arrived, a mysterious dog appeared at their front door. He had been injured and Kate nursed him back to health. The strange dog (the neighbors named him Tommy) became a constant companion to Kate. Together, they walked miles and miles through the quaint village and countryside. On one occasion, Kate was confronted by a pack of wild dogs. Tommy signaled around the wild dogs and chased them away. It was when Kate realized he was not just a dog, he was her guardian angel.
