Book Description HTML

Three stories with Greece as the common denominator. "Lea, Portrait of an Artist" begins on the island of Limnos and our characters meander in England and Switzerland. Lea is a fascinating, troubled painter who interacts with the true and imagined personae of her life. In "Tribulations" an obese man and a Tamil woman meet in Athens and become lovers after she manages to make him lose weight. In "An Indian Story" a young man escaping from an impossible love affair, boards a ship as a sailor and, on the way to India, kills a man. He jumps ship at Mumbai and while in hiding meets an Englishwoman and a young Indian girl.
