Sepintu Sedulang Tradition

The locals care for each other. As a proof that they unite as one, there’s a tradition called “nganggung” or Sepintu Sedulang which happens to be the same as their motto.

Sepintu sedulang means ‘to unite as one’. Whenever they’re celebrating something (during the harvest season, wedding ceremony, and even funeral) they would treat the invited guests (without necessarily knowing the persons) with a huge tray filled with food. Nobody worries that they will run out of food, because they have prepared lots and lots of tray filled with delicious meal!
