Book Description HTML
Two good friends disillusioned with everyday working life, decide to take a year off and go travelling in Europe. They set off in a campervan without expectations, dealing with whatever comes along. They meet a diversity of opinions, beliefs and feelings and begin to see a different sense of reality. One based on freedom of thought and choice but, as is well known, freedom and choice can be daunting. And like many who travel with friends, their friendship suffers unbearable strain and soon arrives at breaking point. Modern society imposes certain conventions that we are taught we must adopt. Conventions that keep us separate from living simply. But most travellers share an easy appreciation of their interconnection between all living things and this is reflected in Zorbus to the Sun.
