Shortcuts Multi Edit and Multi Insert

Generally in Score, if you hold down the [Alt] key while performing an operation, this operation will be copied to other parts of the score. Below follows a brief listing of where the [Alt] key is used.

Multi Insert

Element:
Dialog Boxes
Accents, Staccato, and other Note dependant symbols

Braces
Keys Signature Changes

Other symbols, like
dynamics, crescendo etc. Page Text
Result With [Alt] Pressed:
The settings are copied to all events set up to be affected by the To menu.
Inserted on all notes set to be affected by the To menu (This can also be done by selecting Multi Insert from the Do pop-up menu).

Inserted on all Grand Staves.
Inserted on all staves in this Grand Staff.
Inserted on all staves in this Grand Staff.

Inserted at the same position on all pages.

Element: Bar lines
Braces
Keys & Clefs
Symbols not linked to notes

Result With [Alt] Pressed:
Moving first or last bar line of a Grand Staff results in proportional width change of all the bars across the page.
Changing the height of or moving a brace copies the new size and location to all Grand Staves.
Copies the new key/clef to all keys/clefs at the same position. Copies the change to all items set to be affected by the To menu. For example, selected font and size gets copied to other text elements. Edit all Page Text elements at the same position, for example replacing a sentence that was typed in incorrectly.
