When you first create your group you have to add at least one member. Nobody will want to join a Facebook Group that only has one member, so talk to some of your friends and family and ask them to join before you start to promote your group. Help them out by sending them things to post and teach them to make comments and interact.
As you get more members joining your group you can remove these initial members if that is what you want and they want. We recommend that you advertise your new Facebook Group on your website.
Tell everyone about it in your email newsletter as well and use any of your other social profiles to get the word out about your exciting new group.
