Hershey and the Chocolate Castle

Well, as we know, Sarah lived in a glass castle, and Cindy lived in a velvet castle. But there was little known about Hershey until one day, when Sarah went out on her white horse to go and meet him. She discovered a plain white sheet of paper sitting on his doorstep with a little love message written on it. “Oh Hershey, oh Hershey, you are my one and only love! Will you come to meet me on my front steps tomorrow evening, so that I may give you a kiss?!”

Sarah quickly went inside and showed him the letter, smiling from one corner of her mouth. “Hershey,” she said. “I think that someone is in love with you.”

Hershey blushed so deeply red that he looked like a ripe tomato about ready to be plucked.

Sarah read him the letter and then said, “Signed, Mandy.”

Together Sarah and Hershey walked across a meadow, far, far away from their kingdoms. Meanwhile, Cindy, who was secretly looking at the two of them from up high on her velvet castle, closed the curtains quickly. She had not wanted them to see that she knew where they were going and what they were up to. She turned back to her mirror and sighed.

When they got to Mandy’s house, Mandy started giggling and saying, “You know it, Hershey! I see you have read my love letter and I am so happy that you have now come to my front steps to meet me.”

But Cindy came forward and took the letter from Mandy, for she had taken it gingerly into her hand to wave it back and forth through the air. “You don’t really love him, Mandy,” she said. “I do.” And then she gave him a kiss.

It was discovered that Mandy had only written the letter as a joke. Wiping the tears from her eyes, Cindy went off into the distance with Hershey, lovingly holding his hand. And off they went, to live happily ever after, in perfect contentment. Friends forever, Sarah and Cindy agreed to always confide in each other, for Cindy had discovered her true feelings for Hershey that day. Mandy eventually got a boyfriend, but her friends at school always teased her for being such a mischievous young girl. Sarah decided that she did not want to have a boyfriend for a long, long time, but their faraway friends from beyond the mountains, especially Donna, truly believed that all of them would be just fine, and no matter what kind of troubles they went through, or whatever adventures they went on, that they would be alright all along the way.

The End.
