CHAPTER THREE

EVERYTHING ELSE IS A PUNISHABLE PERVERSION

Everything that does not conform to heterosexuality and Female and male gender identities is a perversion. Now, I know that this may sound very harsh, unthoughtful, maybe even offensive, and demeaning. But trust me, that is not the intention at all. It will be silly of me to demean human beings; the very people that the heart of God beats after. I use the word perversion to distinctly highlight that they are a corruption of what is correct; they are abnormal and unacceptable to God, our heavenly Father, and consequently to the Christian faith.

Let us see what the bible says, and we will begin with the book of Genesis 6:1-8.

And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, my Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of

23

the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Here, we are examining where these perversions began. Now, the first place we see unnatural and deviant mingling that involved man also in the bible is in the verses above where the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and so they took them wives as they chose. Now, you might be wondering how this happened but do not forget that we have evidence in the scriptures that angels can change themselves and assume the state of human beings, but even so, that does not mean they are human beings. What this possibility shows us is that there are many more possibilities when discussing angels. Back to the lustful angels, these angels ultimately became fallen angels; fallen angels that mate with human women and bore children. These children were fallen offspring because they took after their fathers. For these beings to lust after humans and mate with them, it was an introduction to perversion; they introduced human beings to corruption by corrupting them. You see, there was a structure for human beings to come together. On the other hand, angels in heaven do not get married, and neither are they given to marriage. So, this coming together was a deviation from the will of God. As we read verse five, we see that wickedness on earth was exceedingly great that God needed to cleanse the earth leaving only Noah and his family. Go back to your bible and read verse twelve where God says that all flesh had corrupted His way upon the earth. What was this about the corruption that caused God to wipe out everything save one family? If it was the sinful nature in man, God already had a plan for the salvation of man because the word tells us

24

that the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) was slain before the foundations of the earth. So, what was this corruption that needed God to wipe out all flesh even animals? We know that Noah preached righteousness for over one hundred and twenty years. What level of corruption was this that not even one person turned back to God, and the only righteous line remained to be one after those years? It tells you that it was more than the sinful nature of man. Violence and corruption were upon all flesh right after the fallen angels went after the daughters of men.

This corruption did not overlook animals. It was all over the earth. It means that these fallen angels and their resultant offsprings (Nephilim) introduced all manner of corruption, evil, and wickedness that no flesh escaped, and God had to judge all flesh and wipe them off. As you study the story of Noah, the flood, and the fallen angels, you realize that they, the fallen angels, had contaminated the genetic pool of man. The hearts of men became pure evil and drawn to nothing but evil. Man at that time lived, breathed, and enjoyed evil. There was no saving man at this point because they had become the embodiment of evil; the children of darkness. That is the reason why one hundred and twenty years did not bear any fruits.

Now, after Noah’s flood, we still get to see giants in the bible days. We see Goliath and his brothers come through Orpah, formerly Naomi’s daughter-in-law. Therefore, after the floods, it is safe to say that something similar to Genesis 6:4 happened. I like how the NLT VERSION puts it. It says,

In those days, and even afterward, giants lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God

had intercourse with human women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes

mentioned in the legends of the old.

25

Now, when the Nephilim died, they became disembodied spirits that we now know as demons.

These demons continually seek a habitation; the human body. This seeking is what leads to demonic possessions, and when they possess people, they cause the people to manifest their characters.

We have established that the Nephilim are what we know now as demons. Now, hold that thought as we look at some scriptures then I will tie down some loose ends.

Genesis 18:20-21

And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is

very grievous; 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according

to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

Genesis 19:5, 23-25

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came into thee this

night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

Now, Sodom and Gomorrah are the two notorious cities that we read about in the bible that attracted the judgment of God. There is a very great semblance between the state of Sodom and Gomorrah and the times of Noah. There was too much corruption and defilement of the flesh upon the land that the cries of those cities reached God, and He had to come and see what was happening. Now, for the state of these cities to get to this point, it was not an overnight matter just like in the days of Noah. Satan working together with his demons has

26

always had one agenda, to corrupt man. That means that after Noah's time, he found a loophole to contaminate man again. In these two lands, the men were no longer functioning under natural affection and the natural use of the woman. As you read that whole story, you see that all men compassed round about the house of Lot and demanded that he brings out the angels that were in his house. Had the men defiled themselves so much that all of them now wanted the strangers? The men of the city, both young and old wanted to rape the angels of God. Do you remember what the sons of God did to the daughters of men? They took them as they pleased. Here we see men wanting to break down the door of righteous Lot just to get to the two gentlemen inside. It is funny that even after blindness fell upon them by the hand of the angels, they did not depart but wearied themselves at the door trying to enter the house.

What were the spirits and demons controlling these men? One will be a fool not to notice that the forces behind these men were supernatural. You will think that after going blind they will flee, but no! It is only that they could not find the doorway.

The Bible records that when morning came, God caused sulfur and fire to rain down on Sodom and Gomorrah, and everything and everyone was destroyed. This reminds me of how he destroyed everything with the floods. For God to have done this, it means the state of things and people in these places was similar to those during Noah’s time, meaning, in Noah’s time, there was also the problem of men and women following after unnatural affections. If Sodom and Gomorrah were not judged, the whole world would have soon turned again to the era of Noah. So, God cut down those cities.

27

Now, the story of Sodom and Gomorrah shows the mind of God, as well as His stand concerning this matter. I can assure you; it has not changed over time simply because the world is embracing these perversions. If anything, all these things are pointing us to the end that is too near to be comfortable in these perversions. The Bible says that in the end times, it will be like the times of Noah. One look at the world today, the kind of bills being signed into law, how people are denying Jesus, and how they blaspheme will tell you that we are in the last minutes of the end times. That means that we are dealing with powerful spiritual forces seducing people away from right and righteous living, causing them to give themselves over to all manner of perversions and evil.

Now, God is interested in everything that relates to the people He created including your sexual orientation and gender identity. That is why He instills values in us by His word: He has never and will never confuse us. He diligently talks about who the man is, the woman, and the union together. He even talks about their children. In other words, everything with God is clearly defined. There is nothing in the bible that will ever confuse you or your feelings toward yourself and others. The same is the case when you fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God. He will never lead you to question anything about your gender, and neither will He cause you to develop feelings and emotions that are misguided or immoral. God is as pure, as pure can be. He is not confused about His desires and purposes for mankind from generation to generation. What does this mean? It means that there is another agency by which people become misguided about their gender identity and sexual orientation.

28

We are dealing with evil spiritual forces influencing people as well as demons possessing people leading them to all manner of evil and perversions. It will be silly for us to think that unnatural affections are an invention of man. Typically, demons express their personalities and states through their victims. In other words, a person assumes the state or takes the behavior of the demon. The state or the behavior will always be outright contrary to the standards and decrees of God.

Now, whether you are possessed or under the influence of wicked spiritual forces, the standards of God will remain the same concerning all matters, and how He expects us to live.

Nothing changes because for the devil and his cohorts to gain an advantage over a person, it means that the person gave them the leeway and legal ground to operate. You will be held accountable. Behold what the word of God says in

Jude 1:6-7 (Complete Jewish Bible Version)

And the angels that did not keep within their original authority, but abandoned their proper

sphere, He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for the judgment of Great Day.

7. And S’dom, ‘Amora, and the surrounding cities, following a pattern like theirs, committing

sexual sins and perversions, lie exposed as a warning of the everlasting fire awaiting those

who must undergo punishment.

2 Peter 2:4-6 (Complete Jewish Bible Version)

For God did not spare the angels who sinned; on the contrary, He put them in gloomy

dungeons lower than Sh’ol to be held for judgment. 5. And He did not spare the ancient

29

world; on the contrary, He preserved Noach, a herald of righteousness, with seven others and

brought the flood upon a world of ungodly people. 6. And He condemned the cities of S’dom

and ‘Amora, reducing them to ashes and ruin, as a warning to those in the future who would

live ungodly lives

You see how clear the bible is about the consequences of ungodly living. Sodom and Gomorrah were an example of the judgment that awaits them that engage in such perversions. We have not seen the wrath of God come down on people who are evil and engage in evil the way we see in the bible. We have not seen harsh judgments such as a flood to wipe out a particular group of people or fire from heaven. Therefore, people tend to think that God is fine and comfortable. The lamb of God took away the sins of the world. But let us not forget that He is both the Lion and the Lamb. God has already declared what awaits those living ungodly lives; in the perversions that society has embraced. Let us not lie to each other that these are the stories of a long time ago because they are a reflection of the future. Judgment and punishment will surely come. It is just a matter of time. This generation interprets the mercies and grace of God as a license for sin. No! It is not, and it is too dangerous to wait to see what God will do about it. When judgment comes, the world will see a side of God that they will wish never existed, yet in that judgment, He will remain to be Holy, righteous, and true.
