Bhagavad Gita

Dharma is the destiny deep inside all of us; it is our reason for living. In Buddhism, it means cosmic law and order.

Simply put, it is the destination we are heading towards. For context, Karma, is the steps we take towards fulfilling our Dharma.

When we can get quiet and shut out the distractions in the various forms that are flying at us, seemingly all day – every day, then we can start to discover our own core values and in doing so, we will find our life’s purpose, our Dharma.

The easiest way is to ask the universe a question. Next, get quiet and look for the answer.

We all have our purpose buried inside us, and if we start asking the questions, like a flower, it will bloom and begin to open up, showing the most beautiful version of itself.

An example from my own life is shutting down the external noises from media, society, social media and even the people closest to me whom I love dearly.

In doing so, I was guided toward my dharma, and out of nowhere, the answer was now-here. A clear sign of what the overall big picture looks like.

Dharma is not about fame or monetary gain. In a roundabout way, it is about others. What kind of impact do we wish to have on others? What can I do that will allow me to serve others?

If you can answer those two questions, then it’s possible you know your purpose and to reach your dharma and its full potential you will need to focus your attention on that area.
