A Point of View with Grant McGaugh and Mike Kim Brand Master You wrote back very quickly and said let's go ahead and hook this up. And now we are here. Now. My question is this. Why did you? Want to be a guest on the show?
(Mike): you know, as you were sharing this, I pulled up our chat. Right. And 1st of all, in total transparency, I'm not very active on Linkedin, like I said before, but I'm trying to be; I like, I hate Facebook, right?
It just drives me nuts. And I've started to move some of my communities into LinkedIn groups instead of Facebook groups, So by that, I feel like I should be a little bit Well, by that, I'm in LinkedIn a little bit more tting, and you had First pinged me in early October. So we're recording this in January.
So this is like three-four months ago. Yeah, and then I responded the next day, And I asked what you're working on these days, And you mentioned your podcast, And then you put a clip immediately to a video. I didn't watch the video, but the thumbnail popped up. And I can tell you exactly what I was thinking at the time.
Oh, this guy's got his act together. He's well dressed. He's on set. He's got a YouTube video. He's not joking around, and it doesn't like, and here's another thing I would say I don't care about the size of someone's current audience as long as they've got their act together because you never know who's going to up.
So I know there are many stories of now very well-known podcasters Joe Rogan started episode 1 at some point in his life And I bet you there are people like, what is this idiot doing? He's just a TV host for Fear Factor. He's not going to amount to anything. Imagine you were on Joe Rogan's rst 10 episodes, and now where his podcast is, there are people, and you know this, Grant, they go way back and listen to every episode you've ever published.
