Lessons for Adversity
2. Uncertainty is waiting for you to discover it.
The answer is always there. Embrace the uncertainty. Somewhere in the confusion, in the darkness, there will be a window. Oftentimes, as children, we may have been afraid of the darkā¦that is, until the lights were turned on and we realized everything that made us feel safe was already there. The light is there; you just need to find the switch.
Task: What are you facing? What are you fearing? Look into that fear. Pick up a pen and write down the absolute truth of what can happen if your fears come true. Then, next to each point, write down what you can do to either prevent or mitigate damages. Then, each day, do something to implement those plans. Tell others, get help, talk less, do more, and uncertainty will become your friend.
