Chapter 4: Facebook
I am sure that you are familiar with Facebook. Even if you don’t have Facebook (what kind of caveman are you?) you know that Facebook is extremely big and powerful. In fact, over a billion people use Facebook every month so if you are not using Facebook in your business you are losing out on a TON of traffic. I love Facebook. I am mostly using Facebook however and since we are going to talk about free traffic in this eBook, Facebook Ads will not be covered.
So how can you get traffic from Facebook without spending any money? You use Fan pages and groups instead. You will not see results over a night and you will have to build a following first but once you have done it, it is a very effective way to get traffic to your landing pages. The great thing with this is also that even if you end a campaign you will still have the Fan page will lot of people so if you are doing a new campaign you can market it to your fans and get free, fast traffic that way. It is basically like your own email list.
As I mentioned, Facebook groups are also a way to get traffic to your website or landing page. I will talk more about it later but what you want to do is to find a group in your niche and post a link to your blogpost or landing page. What you don’t want is to look spammy because then your link might be removed by the admins and people will just get annoyed. You have to do it in a cool way that make sure the post comes off as good content and not just some stupid marketing guy that has no idea of what he is doing.
