Bobby got down the hill to the beach and was shocked! There was a pile of sh by the beach. Bobby scrambled out to get them as some were in the water and moving away. As he was running around picking up all these sh he heard the snickering.
Bobby looked out and saw the dolphin half out of the water snickering!
Snickers had caught him sh for his boat ride! The dolphin was always saving him. Like he knew how bad Bobby wanted to go home. To see his mother and father. To sleep in his own bed and talk with other people.
To go back to school and learn again the things that helped him stay alive.
He got all the sh thrown up on the beach and then swam out to Snickers. He hugged him and wondered how he knew. But with a look in Snickers eyes he knew the dolphin was concerned that he gets home to his family and friends. He hugged Snickers but when he grabbed his dorsal n they took off like a rocket! He fell off once but Snickers swam back to pick him up. Bobby had never gone this fast in the water before!
Snickers was really fast! Where was he going? Was he taking me to another island? I could see one in the far distance. I was not sure what it was but Snickers knew and was taking me there very fast!
Snickers slowed close to the beach and stopped. The water was getting low and hard to swim for a dolphin. Dolphins were about between 200
and 500 kg (440 and 1,100lb). Pretty big. I think Snickers was maybe 250kg. He was big but slim and very fast.
What if he had a wife? Why was he taking care of me if he had a family?
I had these thoughts but I let them go. Snickers knew what he was doing.
