The Gig Title

It used to be 120 but now you just have 80 characters in which to make your life

changing one line sales pitch, which starts with “For $5 I will” – the 80 characters

you write after this will make or break your sales.

Indeed whilst you can use 80 characters you will find that beyond 60 and fiverr

starts adding smarmy remarks below the title to remind you to keep it short,

now whether it carries out any form of SEO and penalises your for being nearer

to 80 than 60 is unknown, and I’ve not seen any meaningful testing of this or

been able to do any such testing.

NOTE: You can only CAPITALISE just one word in the title, so make it your

keyword so that it stands out. You can however use ‘Title Case’ for the entire

headline, whereby the first letter of each word is capitalised, and I would

recommend doing this – Even Google adwords recommends doing this to make

their ads stand out. So if it works best on Google ads then likewise it seems

sensible to do it on fiverr ad headings as well. Not many people do this so take

advantage and do it.

You need to make this headline count well as it’s the first point of contact with a

potential buyer.
