INT. EXQUISITE RESTAURANT - CONTINUOUS - FLASHBACK

Chioma notices this heated air that covers the ground that separates Emeka and Uche.

CHIOMA

What a small world.

EMEKA (flirtatiously)

Since nobody cares to introduce me to this beauty, I guess I’ll have to introduce myself then.

Emeka reaches for Chioma’s right hand, which is free from Uche’s grip, lifts it up to his face, and then slowly and carefully plants a kiss on it.

EMEKA (CONT’D) (to Chioma)

What’s your name, beautiful?

CHIOMA

Chioma.

Chioma blushes like a nursery-school girl who was just given her favorite ice-cream flavor. Both Uche and Amara are not comfortable with Emeka’s flirting, but Chioma and Emeka doesn’t seem to care for a bit.

In an attempt to make Emeka and Chioma jealous, Amara breaks Uche’s tight grip on Chioma’s hand, and proceeds to the restaurant’s parking lot with Uche in her arms, laughing and chitchatting.

FLASHBACK CONTINUES

EXT. PARKING LOT, EXQUISITE RESTAURANT - CONTINUOUS

The parking lot is filled with trains of neatly parked luxury vehicles. Chioma and Emeka follow Uche and Amara, a few steps behind, in silence. Realizing the oblivion that their partners have cast them into, Emeka breaks the silence that envelopes the pair:

EMEKA (smiles)

So you were checking me out in there?

The question surprised Chioma but she choose to respond calmly:

CHIOMA

(not looking at Emeka)

I was not. I was merely looking. That’s all.
