Chioma refuses Emeka to stir the conversation out of course:

CHIOMA

Stop avoiding my questions, and answer them. Both of them.

EMEKA

I’m happy because meeting you tonight is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.

Although Emeka didn’t say that he loved her too, Chioma was equally happy to hear him say that. She smiles, BITING the bottom of her lips in EXCITEMENT, like she was standing in front of a Christmas present, and can’t wait to unwrap it, to see what’s inside. Emeka is FIDDLING with Chioma’s phone.

CHIOMA

What are you doing on my phone?

EMEKA

Are you the territorial type that doesn’t allow your partner to touch your phone?

CHIOMA

No. I don’t have any skeleton in my closest. But then you’re not my partner.

EMEKA

Not just yet.

Emeka pushes the thought of being together inside Chioma’s head, who’s smiling, and can’t seem to stop herself from smiling

PROFUSELY.

EMEKA (CONT’D)

Why are you smiling?

CHIOMA

Is someone forgetting something?

EMEKA

I’m not forgetting anything.

CHIOMA

Two questions, remember? You only answered one.

Wearing an enchanting smile, Chioma GENTLY jolts Emeka on the elbow.

EMEKA

Wow. You are amazingly, completely, and remarkably beautiful. And I love you.
