Chapter 28

When they entered the lounge, Cheryl was already seated there. “Hello Cheryl, how are you? Meet Raquel.” Raquel and Cheryl exchanged greetings handshakes and hugs.

“Where are we going today?” Jason asked Cheryl.

“Oh we are going to Courts, Horsford, Aarons, Als Appliances, Cost-U-Less, Hubbards and Singer. We should be able to get what we need there. If not we will have to go to Miami.”

“Well let’s see what’s available here first.”

“I agree,” said Raquel.

It was nine forty five and Jason wanted to get a head start. “Well I suppose everyone is ready so let’s get going.”

They all piled into Jason’s BMW X5 which was waiting. It had been washed and cleaned. Jason took the wheel asking Cheryl where their first stop was. “Hubbards is nearest,” said Cheryl.

“Sure thing,” said Jason.

When they entered Hubbards, they saw some good furniture and some ordinary ones. The living room furniture had good variety and was top class. So too were the coffee tables. Cheryl made some notes and they moved along to look at the appliances. They saw nothing that they liked with the appliances.

Next stop was Al’s appliances. The appliances here were very good. They had the latest washers, dryers, refrigerators, Microwaves, stoves, stove tops, ovens, dishwashers and rotisseries. They had some nice varieties too. Nice colors and styles in addition to sizes.

Jason wanted to choose the appliances here, but Raquel and Cheryl preferred to see what other choices there were at the other outlets. Jason suggested that they choose what they preferred here. He then added that if better options came up at the other outlets they could pick and choose. That way they wouldn’t have to return here and start all over again. Raquel and Cheryl agreed.

Cheryl made the notes on what the preferences were, and they left somewhat pleased.

Courts, Horsfords and Singer did not have much variety in terms of the choices of appliances, colors and types. And the sales people were not that great on hospitality or customer service.

After making a few notes the group motored along to Cost-U-Less. The staff here was helpful and excellent on customer service. The range and variety was also very good, but not as much as at Al’s Appliances. Raquel marveled though at the variety of foodstuff the buying club offered. The prices here are really affordable and value for money. She mentioned it to Jason and he nodded in agreement. Again Clair made some notes before they left for the final stop at Aaron’s.

Before going to Aaron’s they stopped off for lunch at Sweet Suzie’s Tropical Dishes. They each ordered several different dishes. The drinks were free since Sweet Suzie’s only served fresh fruit juices. All of them ate and drank their fill. Some people even had seconds. For desert today there was a choice of fruit salad, rum & raisin ice-cream or strawberry cheese cake.

After visiting Aaron’s they made a firm decision on the furniture and furnishings/appliances.

A side by side double door stainless steel refrigerator with pedestal in addition to two white mini-bars. A cherry mahogany hutch. An entertainment centre. Two (sixty two inch) Sony LED flat screen Smart televisions. Two (forty two inch) Samsung LED flat screen Smart televisions. Two queen sized beds with matching divans and one California king sized four poster bed. One full sized bed with divan and headboard. Four medium sized light purple coffee tables. One Sony home theatre system, with surround sound and one Bose entertainment system.

There were also three white bookcases. Four white chests of drawers. Two mahogany dressers. Three full length mirrors in frames. One Bosch stove top. One GE oven. Two white GE microwaves. One GE front loading 25 kg washer and one dryer. One large pendulum clock in the shape of a helm. Two digital LED wall clocks. Two plush living room suites. One twelve seater mahogany dining set. Three junior business chairs. Three executive business chairs. A large multi function printer along with a new 27” iMac desktop pc for Raquel also came. For Jason a new Macbook pro notebook and two iPads came, along with a projector and a small rear projection screen. A water cooler with filter as well as some thirty two by forty inch framed pictures. Twelve plant stands in pastel green, light purple, yellow, burnt orange, peach, mango, white, black and fuchsia.

This selection of furniture and furnishings would be for their matrimonial home. Once they had made their choice of furniture and furnishings they advised Cheryl to order the furniture. They should be delivered within two weeks. Jason and Raquel also gave her the instructions as to where they wanted them placed/installed.

Cheryl and Jason retired for the day and decided that they would go to the cinema to watch a movie. They showered and refreshed themselves with a simple meal. Fried steaks of mahi mahi, with spaghetti in turmeric sauce and onions. They also consumed some fruit punch. Then they were off to the movie.

The name of the movie was “A Little Bit of Heaven”. It was about an irreverent young woman who uses her humor to prevent matters from getting serious. She has a life-changing visit with her doctor. They arrived at the cinema half an hour later. After purchasing their tickets, they entered the cinema, choosing to sit in the centre of the auditorium. The crowd was more of a matured blend roughly ages 30 55.

While they were watching they held hands and snuggled up as close as they could. The first half was a very good drama. They had some apple juice while stretching their feet at intermission. They took their seats for the second half of the movie which Raquel intimated to Jason was very touching. Just about ten minutes before it ended they left trying to beat the crowd which would pour out of the cinema at the end.

They hugged and kissed before getting into the car. Driving out of the parking lot was easy as not many people had exited the cinema as yet. Smiling Raquel suggested they go for ice cream.

“Sure,” said Jason. “I would love that.”

“My treat,” said Raquel. And Jason smiled ear to ear.

In fifteen minutes they were turning into Fustic’s ice cream and sundae stop. Jason wanted a sundae. Raquel chose a fruit split. They ordered the large ones. After eating their ice cream delicacies, they strolled the beach hand in hand occasionally stopping to embrace and kiss. They decided it was time to retire for the night, and embarked the car on their journey home.

Arriving home they had a quick rinse and retired to bed. Jason played with and lightly tickled Raquel. She was sleepy, but as soon as she got that attention, she became wide awake. She reached up and kissed her boo. Then swiftly she got up for a brief moment, shedding her baby doll nightie and panties. Then she was hurriedly back in bed. Jason had not moved. Sensing this Raquel pulled at his boxers. He did not move but straddled her. Hmmm she thought. Running her hand up through the boxer legs she touched his sexually aroused member intentionally. It was swollen hard. She coaxed it tenderly.

Jason got off the bed and shed his boxer in one swift motion. Then he resumed where he left off. But Raquel was having none of it. When he straddled her she turned and rolled shoving him off balance and straddling him. The move caught him by surprised. Before he could respond he felt his sex sliding deep within her velvety smooth wetness. Then with all of her might and passion she was riding him, sucking his nipples, from one
