CALA MILLOR - MAJORCA
At a very expensive looking cloths shop. There are Rolls Royce's, Ferraris, Porsches, and other high end cars parked outside and nearby. A well dressed elegant looking Spanish woman is going in through the front door of the shop. She is followed in by a tarty looking British woman with tatty bleach blond hair. You would almost take her for a prostitute.
Inside the shop, Amanda (Harry's Wife) is trying on a new white coat with a white fur collar. She is admiring herself in a mirror.
She is being attended to by Catalina, one of five shop assistants. Also looking into the mirror at the same time as Amanda admires herself.
"You look so beautiful."
Just then the elegant Spanish woman is walking past, she makes a flam-boyant gesture by raising her left arm. "Stunning. That coat was made for you. You must have it."
As she walks past she is looking every bit a six foot ex catwalk model, with her head held high and her long legs, and straight back, she is now looking straight ahead, striding forward towards her office. She sees the reflection of Mandy in one of the nearby free standing mirrors, the tarty looking blond, is now walking behind her.
Horrified. She stops in her tracks, and spins around on Mandy. "Are you lost?"
Mandy is constantly chewing gum as she speaks."No I ain't lost. You work here or what?"
"Not exactly. I'm the owner."
"Good, then you can get me a load of gear. I gotta look good for some special dinner tonight."
She takes the chewing gum out of her mouth and tries to hand it to the shop owner.
"Why are you trying to give me a hand full of your disgusting vomit?"
"It ain't vomit love. It's strawberry chewing gum. I got it here. Ya can't get this stuff in London."
"Why would I want anything that has come from your mouth?"
"I gotta get rid of it somewhere. You don't want me ta get gum all over ya nice new dresses now do ya?"
Calls to another assistant to come over and help her, "Daniela, will you see to this lady for me, I have some very important business I must take care of in my office." leaves without taking the chewing gum from Mandy.
Still holding the chewing gum out in front of her. This time trying to hand it to Daniela. "What am I gonna do with this?"
"I get you waste bin." Turns around and picks up a waste paper bin.
Holds it out for Mandy to drop her chewing gum into.
Drops chewing gum into waste paper bin. "Got a tissue?"
"Un momento por favor." Puts down the waste paper bin, takes a box of tissues from a shelf, holds it out for Mandy to take one from box. "Here you are."
Takes a few too many tissues and wipes her hands, then loudly blows her nose. Tosses the tissues into the waste paper bin, she then tosses 150,000
Pesetas onto a nearby table."Fanks love, Is that gonna be enough?"
"Perdón, que no lo entiendo ."
Amanda appears at Mandy's side. "She doesn't understand what you're saying."
In perfect Spanish, Amanda turns to Daniela and asks her if that is enough money to buy a nice dress?
"Se', of course."
"There you go, you've got plenty. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. By the way my name's Amanda." Starts to go back to where she was trying on cloths.
"That's funny so's mine."
Stops and turns as Mandy speaks to her. "Looks like we've got a lot in common."
Amanda turns back goes to where she had left the cloths she was trying on. "Holds up a dress for inspection. "Think I'll take this one. Perdón erdón." Calls Catalina (Shop Assistant) over so she can pay for her dress and coat.
