Brain EVO

The car is controlled by a Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer. This computer is a small board slightly larger than a bank card. A specialized Raspbian distribution was used on the computer. The board is based on the Broadcom BCM2711 SoC, which contains four 64-bit ARM Cortex-A72 cores with a clock speed 1.5 GHz. The computer has 8 GB of LPDDR4 SDRAM RAM. VLI VL805, provides USB 3.0 Hub via PCI Express bus. Gigabit Ethernet is provided using the Broadcom BCM54213PE separate from USB. Wireless communication is provided by the Cypress CYW43455 chip, dual-band wireless IEEE 802.11.b / g / n / ac 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and Bluetooth LE. The power connector is USB-C, the computer needs up to 3 A. The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has support for two 4K screens at 30 frames per second. Next to the two microHDMI ports, there is a 4-pole stereo output and a composite video jack. Storage is provided by a Micro-SD card with a slot on the bottom of the board. The GPIO connector is standard 40-pin.
