Sticky Chicken and Broccoli Prep Bowls
Chicken and broccoli – the dieters staple! But this dish is far from bland or boring. Soy sauce and honey make a sticky sauce for the chicken, and sesame oil jazzes-up the broccoli for a tasty and filling lunch suitable for any day of the week.

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. soy sauce (tamari is best)
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
Method:
- Drizzle some olive oil into a frying pan and place over a medium heat.
- Add the honey and soy sauce, place the chicken thighs into the pan and stir to coat in soy and honey, sauté for approximately 15 minutes or until the chicken is almost cooked.
- Add the broccoli to the pan, increase the heat to high, splash a few teaspoons of water into the pan and immediate place a lid onto the pan – this will steam the broccoli.
- Once the water has evaporated, remove the lid and check that the chicken has cooked through and the broccoli is cooked yet crunchy.
- Drizzle the sesame oil over the broccoli before dividing the chicken and broccoli between your 4 containers.
- Cover and store in the fridge until needed!
