How To Create Basecamp Task For Video Editors

1. From Basecamp Project “BlitzMetrics Content: Internal Video Production” under To-dos, create a To-do list for Urgent Task or search for the desired Video Editor To- Edit List.

2. Click the “Add a to-do” button then fill the following according to this format:

3. Ask Aarun or the Project Team Leader to give you editing notes, link to the video URL, and any relevant editing description.

IF the RAW video’s duration is over 10 minutes, THEN ask Aarun for guidance on how to edit.

Example:

a. Spend at most [x] amount of hours on this one video.

b. Use these images for clips.

c. Use these other videos for B-Roll, etc.

Note: “When a Video Editor is no longer with BlitzMetrics, remove all instances of their name under the ‘Editor’ column.”

  1. Describe this to-do: [Priority] Edit [Video Title]
  2. Assigned to: [Name of the Video Editor]
  3. When done, notify: Dennis, Aarun, Bernard, Kat, and the Project Team Leader
  4. Due on: 7 days from the completion of the Basecamp Task
  5. Notes: Video URL, Google Drive URL, contextual notes from other threads, instructions, etc.
