She ran back the direction she came from so that she could hide behind the wall of the first shop she passed a few moments prior to the gunshots. She turned a sharp left and waited for the powerful vehicle to pass by. Her heart raced as she paid a keen ear to ensure that the engine kept producing the same sound and didn't slow down. A few seconds later and the car passed her by. She kept a fixed eye on it to make sure that she wasn't spotted, the car continued speeding down the road without any signs of slowing down.
