CHAPTER 9 - Giant Protects the White Bull

There were several maid servants in the bedchamber of Queen Lotu. They were terrified by the sudden appearance of Giant Totu carrying unconscious Queen Lotu in his arms. The Giant gently laid her down on a couch. He politely asked one of the maid servants to attend to the Queen. Then Giant Totu disappeared just as quickly as he had come.

The giant had no idea that the white bull was King Chhotu.  He was concerned about the safety of the bull. If he left the bull in the corridor, then servants would find him. They would cruelly chase him out of the palace.

So he returned to the bull.

"OK now, you, my white bull, Totu has a plan for you.

I will carry you to quarters of King Chhotu.

Until my return, you can hide there sound and safe.

Hardly anyone ever comes there during night or day."

King Chhotu did not like being a bull and did not want anyone in the palace to see him like that. He did not want to go to his chambers as he wanted to be there when King Motu the Magnificent was captured. He wanted to scream all of this to the giant.  But like all bulls, King Chhotu could not talk to people. All that came out was angry snorting of a bull.

The giant continued.

"I'll take care of you when I return

but in the meantime lets get to ..."

The Giant Totu stopped because he saw that the bull was getting so angry it would charge at him any second.  Giant Totu had to act quickly.

"Alright alright my bull. I won't do that.

But neither have I any time to waste.

I want to go to Ezaarem as soon as I can.

Tell you what, I'll take you to the battle with me then."

So Giant Totu carried the bull on his shoulders and flew off towards King Motu's kingdom. Giant Totu put the bull down at the border. While the bull watched, Giant Totu went into action for his planned attack.

Giant Totu sang:

"My Happy Sun,

Is Happy To Rise,

On a Happy day,

like Happy Today,

for Happy Happy Me!"

Giant Totu danced as he gathered large boulders.
