Hyenas and bats I think have been made enemies throughout stories because we as humans do not operate well in the dark and know nothing about what they do. All the information we know about them stems from research that we do in the light, where the rulers are lions and eagles alike. When we turn of the lights and go in the dark, where the stories we tell our children change to a different tone, our acceptance of democracy must fade in the dark where the Kings and Emperors are a different species, the Kingdom is of a different name and the reasons why the hunt and express their sentiments in the day, is mainly because they are in different territories where they themselves do not rule.
