MOM IS YOUR MENTOR
Mike Kryzewski observes, “Throughout my life, my mom has been the person that I’ve always looked up to.” Your mom is a mentor. She is an example for which many other women look up to for advice and wisdom. Shia Lebeouf observed of her mom, “My mom is the backbone not just of my family but of many families.”You are very lucky to have her as your mom because she is a great mentor. She mentored your rise from a formless fetus to the great personality you have now become. She is just herself, an original mom. Her characteristics show a dedicated commitment to her responsibility of building a great you. The absolute truth is that she mentors you. She does not throw you off sight because you are not making great results; rather she encourages, builds, and motivates you to see the brighter side in your disability. Linda Poindexter explains thus, you never appreciate all of the things your mother did for you until you find yourself doing the same things for your kids.
Mom is pragmatic in her dealings. She takes practical steps to ensure her set goal and target for you is achieved. Because she does not see a lesser you, she counts it as a rare privilege having you come through her. She is well motivated, blessed with faith. She has so much faith in you.
As mom watches you, she can only picture your best. Her mentoring gift she exudes backed with a confidence that she is not making a mistake in you. Mom knows your best is subject to her mentoring and she puts all the hard work inspired by the grace of God to uplift your sometimes-weak mind towards fulfilling your potential. A notable observer wrote, "everything good about me, came from my mom."If I can be half the mother that she is, I will consider Motherhood a success...
As a mentor, she believes her responsibility is to
Motivate you towards achieving seemingly impossible goals. She it is who puts the fuel upon which the rocket you shoots out to space. She thus practically believes that her words, scolding, and encouragement would be the factors that will project you towards uncommon achievements.
Educate you on basic championship principles that you need to have. This is because she knows you must be a champion. She is championing your cause and teaching you the principles you need to have to build you towards your destined greatness.
Negate bad virtues. Mom realizes that there are bad virtues that you are prone to copy. Sometimes these virtues are because of societal influences. Because mom has had almost the same experiences, she realizes that unwholesome character attributes kills your best. She therefore strives to negate those bad virtues to ensure you come out a great responsible personality.
Think along your lines of greatness. Mom knows you are thinking great too. She sees you in your dreams. Her quest is to ensure you achieve the best of your dreams. For you to achieve it, she has to think right behind you. She admires your courage, tenacity, and doggedness in pursuing your goals. It is in pursuit of these goals she strives to push her thoughts.
Order those shaky steps. Every step you make is one shaky step of fear. We fear so much about the future. We imagine ourselves at a great height but we are often afraid to take a bold step. We tend to struggle with every step. Mom is always around to strengthen our resolve.
Resolve to build a great person out of you. She believes in your absolute best and she knows you cannot be less. She is determined to pursue a forward ever route to ensure you are the best. Lance Armstrong declares of his mom," My mom was such a strong character. I don’t want to say she was like a man but she was tough."
