A Parachute Experience
I'm on a helicopter for a jump,
It's my first time, I have help behind me.
Scared to look outside, I glance carefully,
My frightened heart will the blood quickly pump.
Adrenaline shoots, in my throat, a lump.
My guide coaxes the jump, 'It's fine, honey.'
Why'd I pay? Was this fear worth my money?
My only route to safety is the hump.
Three.. Two.. One.. Out of the aircraft we fly!
Of the two of us, I'm the one who screams.
For the whole way down, you will hear me cry.
Gravity's about to kill me, it seems.
I opted to do this, don't ask me why,
