Can you sneak a peek from time to time?

The answer is no. You must remember that we were mainly influenced to watch porn, whether that be those old porn ads while reading a blog or watching a sexy video on youtube. We end up dragged into the porn trap because we allow ourselves to sneak that little peak. That little moment of sloppiness is what got us in trouble in the first place. Even after more than 90 days of abstaining from porn, some people fall prey to a bit of a peak, and the next thing you know, they're hooked again. If you want to quit porn, you'd better leave it for good.

Having the urge to sneak a peak is a significant sign that you have not dealt with the problem correctly. Do not imply that it's just because you have seen a sexy ad and that you wouldn't have relapsed had you never seen it. Hold yourself accountable for your failures and stop blaming your poor decisions on outside influence. Remember that you can say no, in precisely the same capacity to say yes.

Suppose you relapse into porn again because of a sneak peek. In that case, you will experience a bitterness even worse than the one you felt back when you were masturbating to porn every day. You might feel mild signs of depression, and the reason is simple, you have thrown months of effort out the window.

Even when your partner rejects having sex with you, remember that you can always say no to the temptation of watching porn to fill the supposedly illusory void. Not having sex for a day or even a year will not kill you if monks can live a life without sex. So can you.

There is no reason to bluff or to try to convince yourself that just this one more time is ok. Rationalise your decision and remember that decisions taken under the influence of emotions are rarely ever good ones, even the darkest moments. Remember that you can always take a breath of fresh air to think clearly. Go to your balcony or outside, get a breath of fresh air, and come back home to sleep. You might be surprised that your wife is already wearing your favorite leggings.

There is no such thing as an addictive personality. Put yourself in a positive mental frame of mind. Quit self-sabotage instead of claiming that you have an addictive personality. Make positive affirmations about your ability to quit. As previously mentioned, no one has ever won with a loser mentality.

Similarly, one cannot become a millionaire without believing that one could be. There is no such thing as luck. We make our luck by deciding our fate. Start creating the future of your dreams, or fall prey to your negative thinking and low esteem of your ability to take control.
