How Man Endorsed It
Man is a very complex being. When God gives a law or a structure to live by for a season, to train him enough to operate in the better law or structure, it will take force to enforce the law into him once he finally accepts it, when it’s time to stop using or following the law or structure man will not want to leave the former one for a new one. The children of Israel are a very typical example of human attitude. God gave them the laws through Prophet Moses to prepare them for better promises which is by Grace and faith, they say no! We are fine with the Law of Moses. God is saying leave that take this new one, they said nothing is as good as this old law, we don’t want new one. That is exactly the nature of man. It is very difficult for human to let go of whatever they have fully accepted to switch to a new one.
What I am saying here is; there is nothing God want to prove to us again about this anymore. All the drama God has been recording and acting with us is over now. The purpose is achieved already. God created the heavens and the earth and all that he needs to create, he is no longer creating anything. The reason for the structure of making the younger lord over the older is achieved. All of the drama ended at the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as the law is abolished so also are the structures that conveyed the law and means to salvation and making the life of God possible and available for mankind.
Jesus Christ is the end of all the law and whatever strategy God used in the past to prepare the heart of man for the greater glory and blessing that should follow His suffering and obedient, even the death of the cross.
