WAR ON THE SAINTS
FALL 2023 – FALL 2024?
The Book of 2 Baruk strangely skips the seventh part of the tribulation period. However, I would like to hypothesize that two international figures will arise during this period of time, the antichrist and the false prophet, and they may even have a prominent role in the peace process.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
I believe that somehow, and some way, Christians will be blamed for all the trouble that the world is experiencing…that is how the story usually goes in the Bible.
1Ki 18:17 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
1Ki 18:18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
Elijah had told King Ahab that God would punish Israel with a famine because of Ahab’s sins, but of course Ahab turned the tables and blamed Elijah for the drought. We see over and over again in the Bible that the wicked always refuse to take responsibility for the consequence of their sins.
Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
