BEGINNING OF COMMOTIONS

2 Baruk 27:3 In the first part there shall be the beginning of commotions. Eth CEPHER Bible.
I was looking up the word “commotion” in the King James Bible and coincidentally the only place I found it was in the Book of Jeremiah.
Jer 10:22 Behold, the noise of the bruit (news, tidings) is come, and a great COMMOTION out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
COMMOTION: H7494, ra‛ash, rah'-ash
From H7493; vibration, bounding, uproar: - commotion, confused noise, earthquake, fierceness, quaking, rattling, rushing, shaking.
The word “ra’ash” is found seventeen times in the Old Testament and is also translated as an uproar, earthquake, and shaking. It is difficult to know what it will mean for the tribulation period, but the LORD tells Baruk that the whole world will experience the tribulation.
2 Baruk 28:6 Is it in one place or in one of the parts of the earth that those things are come to pass, or will the whole earth experience them?
2 Baruk 29:1 And he answered and said unto me: Whatsoever will then befall will befall the whole earth; therefore all who live will experience them. Eth CEPHER Bible.
I do not know exactly what the “commotion” is, but I suspect that the first “commotion” will “shake” the whole world to its core…and the “commotion” will not disappear after a few news cycles…just use your imagination, it is going to be BAD!
Heb 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Heb 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
I believe the world may experience a world-wide economic collapse or the start of a great world-wide depression some time during 2018.
SLAYING OF THE GREAT ONES

2 Baruk 27:4 And in the second part there shall be slayings of the great ones. Eth CEPHER Bible.
The “great ones” can only be the saints of God, Jesus said Christians would be hated by ALL nations in the last days… this may also signal the arrival of the last great outpouring of the Holy Spirit prophesied by the Prophet Joel.
Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Perhaps you have noticed that Jesus did not face persecution until AFTER He was filled with the Holy Spirit. Also, the apostles did not suffer much persecution until AFTER Pentecost. The Holy Spirit used them to perform many mighty miracles, but afterwards they were cast into prison, martyred, and force to flee from town to town. I suspect that the saints in the last days will also face similar persecution after God pours out His Holy Spirit one last time just prior to the return of Jesus Christ.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
