A journal or file folder containing such ideas is like a treasure chest you can open from time to time, when your own mind has seemed to run out of ideas. You can refer to your ideas journal or folder to help yourself in your work. You may even be a budding inventor, and have ideas that you can patent and earn from!

 

 

 

 

 

4. Network of Contacts.

 

Throwing money around to get things done at work isn’t as cost-effective or wise as having “allies” in the right places for you to call and ask help from.   These are reliable people who can supply you with products and services you need. They can also be your customers, willing and able to buy your products and services, or refer you to those who can.   They may even be your next employers.

Do you have a social network of your own? Do you know a few people who can help you in your business in some way? Who are they, and how many of them do you know? List them down in a journal, or keep an updated file on them. What have you done in order to maintain and grow your network? If maintaining your network means cultivating business relationships, how have you been doing so?  How have you been tapping into this network to
