Bannerman’s the following night at eight, the gig was starting at ten and we wanted to be there a while before to mingle and enjoy a couple of drinks.

It was past nine and I was feeling a little tired so I decided to get ready for bed and have an early night. The wine had made me sleepy as well and I thought I’d save my energy for the gig night out instead. I was brushing my teeth when I heard Lisa walk through the front door. I spat out the rest of my toothpaste before going out in the hallway to greet her.

“Hey Lisa, have a good night?”

“Yeah, it was nice, but I’m beat now, heading straight for bed, we’re rehearsing a show now so the whole day was hectic, fun though. But it was nice to wind down with a few drinks!”

“I’m heading for bed too. Don’t forget about tomorrow.

We’re meeting Chris outside of Bannerman’s at eight. “Ok, cool, I’ll be ready.”

She was a big time optimist, so I would probably have to ’remind’ her at least two hours prior.

I walked towards my bedroom. “Night Lisa, sweet dreams.” “Sweet dreams roomie!”
